Born from a conviction that water deserves to be architecture
Des Marques et Vous was established in Jakarta in 2013 by a team of construction engineers and landscape architects who shared a frustration: most swimming pools in Indonesia were being built as afterthoughts — rectangular concrete tanks dropped into gardens with no regard for the land, the light, or the life of the property.
We set out to change that. From our first build — a forest-integrated natural pool in Bogor — we treated each project as an act of architecture, not plumbing. Twelve years and more than 850 completed pools later, that principle still governs every decision we make.
Fewer short-cuts. Greater craftsmanship.
We deliberately cap our annual project volume to ensure every pool receives the full attention of a dedicated project architect and site supervisor. We do not subcontract our tile work, our plumbing, or our electrical systems. Every crew member on a Des Marques et Vous site is directly employed by us and trained to our standards.
This is not a scalable model designed for rapid growth. It is a model designed to produce pools that are still structurally sound, visually coherent, and mechanically reliable twenty years after handover. Our five-year structural guarantee is not marketing — it is a reflection of how we build.

Craftsmanship
Every pool is built by our own trained crews. We do not subcontract structural work. Every tile is set by hand, every joint is inspected before grouting, every pipe joint is pressure-tested before backfill.
Innovation
We continuously assess new materials, filtration technologies, and construction methods. From variable-speed pump systems to UV-stable composite decking, we adopt improvements that deliver measurable benefit — not novelty.
Sustainability
All Des Marques et Vous builds incorporate energy-efficient pump systems as standard. We offer eco-filtration and saltwater chlorination options on all styles, and we source materials from certified, responsibly managed suppliers wherever available.
Full Transparency
Our quotes are detailed and itemised — you know exactly what you are paying for before work begins. We provide weekly progress reports with photographs, and all variations are agreed in writing before any additional work commences.
